This is what I don’t get. The GOP messaging is terrible. These fools have jacked up spending in the trillions and now we are suddenly having trouble reducing a 1.5 trillion dollar deficit by less than 1%. How can we possibly not be winning this argument. I am days away from abandoning Boehner and Cantor permanently and starting a movement to replace with new leaders.

Something inside tells me many republicans are giddy at the thought of getting their hands on a budget of that size.

First, having enough dough to feed the beast means not having to deal with the substance of our institutional problems; and second, 3-4 trillion sure can buy alot of votes...

The fact that the poor benighted taxpayer is being enslaved by the state doesn't seem to cross their minds at all.

While I can't speak to all of their messaging, good or bad, the bottom line is they could stand in front of the Capitol 24-7 and the pro-Democrat media simply ignores them. How many alternative health care plans were put out by the GOP during the Obamacare fight and yet were ignored even when Obama & Co. constantly used the line "If you've got something better then show us."?

If the GOP messages and the pro-Dem media ignores it, then did the GOP really make a sound?
