Yes, knee jerk. Look at any article on FR concerning the police and within 10 posts you will see reactions like the ones here. The police have no power that isn't given them by the people. Don't like things? Then change them! The reactions here are more like an Anarchists than folks who respect the rule of law.
BTW, look at my posting history. I'm no defender of excessive police action. Too many folks here post without thinking first.
FReepers are tired of cops who abuse citizens. Ignorance of the law is not a defense for civilians but it is for cops.
This guy is going to have a monstrous legal bill because a cop and a DA doesn’t know squat about primers, powder or cartridges.
I called my local fire dept five years ago or so and asked the asst. Chief if there was any restrictions on the amount of primers, powder or cartridges I would be permitted to store in my home. His response, “Why do you ask? Should there be?”
