” ... IMO, she has no game, just a name ...”

You are uninformed, to be generous.

Anyone who could walk into a room, closed door with three Big Oil Executives, and walk out the victor is a “proven” and has “game”!
Anyone who could get the transcontinental oil pipeline rolling against conflicting many special interests is “proven” and has “game”
Anyone who could run against an establishment incumbent and win “ is “proven” and has “game”
Anyone who could withstand the uninterrupted media attack on her own person and family is “proven” and has “game”

Name another person who has more “game” please!

I'd vote for her because of her record. She was bashed by the press for her “lack of experience”, yet then Senator Obama had a whole 144 days in the Senate.

Note the state of Alaska has a population of fewer then 700.000 people. There are mayors of moderate sized cities in the US who are responsible for the governance of more people.

Alaska is a “welfare state” in that it recieves more money from the Federal Government then it pays in taxes. Not much of a trick to have a budget surplus in such a state.

In dealing with the oil companies, when did we view a government lording over private industry as a positive thing?

Palin is a fantastic spokesperson but does not have what it takes to dig us out of the hole that we are in.
