doesn’t something have to exist before it can be stolen? If this really existed, it could prove interesting to see WHOSE identity was actually stolen. Here’s a quetion for someone with experience in this field - if you steal an identity from someone who stole it, who goes to jail?

How could a Connecticut number be the presidents number?

Time to bring this guy into court and release all the info, and let the state prove that was Obama’s number.

No one. The Supreme Court actually ruled recently that using someone's SSN# fraudulently, was not identity theft, since he didn't know the person from whom he borrowed the number.
