Their share of what? You do realize this is a republic and not a social democracy, don't you?
You've just repeated the battle cry of those who are hopelessly plagued with wealth envy. Who gets to decide what exactly defines "super rich"? Who gets to decide if a citizen has or has not paid his "fair share".
Here are some questions for you: If you were to become wealthy, would you not do everything you could legally do to protect your money? Would you sit and shrug off all the hostility directed toward you? Would you not care that people who have no direct interest in any of your personal business want to see you stripped of your wealth just to make things fair?
Who do you think owns and invests in business, making jobs available to ordinary folks like me? It's not ACORN and it's not the government. It's certainly not those who spend their time whining about the rich not paying their share.
To see this kind of thought posted here and to see agreement in the various comments makes me believe that the great majority of us have lost our way. Rather than look up to those who succeed, learn from what they did, and work as hard as we can to make our own way, we've become a society stricken with laziness, envy, greed, and a sickening loathing of the very liberties and freedoms that built this nation.
You are arguing against policies I don’t hold. See my post #46.
