For the record, I would prefer to attend the Beatification over the Royal Wedding. I think there’s too much of a fuss being made over it. I guess the Royals have to have something to keep them from being bored to tears. A jolly good show for the public once in a while is preferable, I suppose, to a succession of funerals. No?

The Mountbatten-Windsors haven't had a wedding or a funeral in quite a while. I suppose Prince Phillip can't last too much longer; hopefully he's sufficiently compos mentis to enjoy the spectacle without making one of himself.
