You can’t prosecute them, the whole system is bought and paid for and they own it all. For every sacrificial lamb, like a Madoff, there are people much more powerful, who benefited to a much greater degree from their criminal actions and they’ll never see a day in jail. How many people have been prosecuted, let alone found guilty, for the latest meltdown we had?
Americans deserve the government they get. Our only real defense is an engaged, informed citizenry. If we want to be a nation that honors the Rule of Law, it starts with the voter. Our immigration laws are not being enforced. Do you blame the "super rich" for this as well?
