Clintonfatigued, not to toot my own horn, but as I've been reporting over the years here from liberal ground zero, being here is like being in a different reality, let alone a different country.

Not being alive in 1859-ish America, I don't know how people in the country felt. But, if there was a way to qualitate and quantitate “the mood” of those folks and compared it to what's out there today, I'd speculate the results would be very, very similar. And we know what started in 1861.
