Because of George Stephanopoulos' terrible interview with Pastor Rob Bell this morning on GMA, I present to you a real interview.

Yep. He really has no answer to the direct question.
The interviewer plays the old game of posing the questions in a way that cannot be answered. Is it A or is it B? It is in fact A and B which becomes perfectly logical when you consider C which God has chosen not revealed to us yet.
Faith gets us through the seeming paradoxes.
When we all face God we will understand perfectly and none will able to fault God for even the tiniest injustice.
Good interview with a heretic. Thanks for posting.
Tingling of ears and all that..dangerous ground..
>>The interviewer plays the old game of posing the questions in a way that cannot be answered.<<
When people do that to me I just respond back, “Is it true you’ve stopped beating your wife?”
It is God’s perfect Will that every soul be saved.
God’s Will be done.
Mat 7:13-14 KJV - "[13] Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: [14] Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it."
Christ trumps anything that man has to say on the subject, including you.
You are just like the interviewer: It is either A or B. Either choice is just horrible. According to you either some souls will suffer never ending incomprehensible suffering, or (according you your interpretation), the Bible lies.
I have faith that God’s Perfect Will cuts that “apparent” knot. When we see the whole plan complete it will be perfect in peace, perfect in justice, perfect in love.
Some people are going to suffer according to the Bible. It’s not my fault because I didn’t write the Bible.
“I have faith that Gods Perfect Will cuts that apparent knot. When we see the whole plan complete it will be perfect in peace, perfect in justice, perfect in love.”
Where in Scripture does it say that everyone will be saved? And if so then why did Jesus die on the Cross?
Then the Bible lies about God being a God of Love. Not my fault. Love means never abandoning your beloved creation to eternal unbearable pain.
“Love means never abandoning your beloved creation to eternal unbearable pain.”
He doesn’t. They leave Him.
Simply put, turn or burn. It's your choice.
You will, I’m sure join me and condemning those folks preaching that they have personal knowledge of explicit and specific torments being perpetrated on lost souls at this very moment. Flesh being flayed, reforming, and being flayed endlessly. Being dunked in liquid led and feeling the pain but the flesh never being consumed by it. Constantly being on the edge of suffocation. And countless other fantasy of a disturbed psyche. None of this is revealed in the bible. All if this is a relatively recent innovation in Christianity. Certainly Christ never taught this.
No one could possible choose that over eternal life with Jesus. You are simply being flip if you say that’s what they get if they reject Jesus.
You’re arguing with the wrong entities.
You need to take your issue up with Christ himself.
Make your case to him.
These other folks are just the messangers.
Which is really no choice at all since those of us who know Jesus know what wonderful the choice of him will be.
I believe every one will make the choice, but it will be a completely informed choice.
I will say this much though, you phrased that just exactly like a few very militant atheists I know. I don't think you're the same person, but I do wonder if you're an atheist posing as a believer. Your woefully inadequate knowledge of Scripture seems to indicate that either this is the case or you're possibly a seriously weak or young Christian. What's the deal here, because frankly the HS isn't agreeing with you being one of us.
Not at all. I’m completely at ease with the Great Plan and when all the mysteries are reveled it will be perfect.
I’m arguing that the Bible leaves us with many mysteries and what I see in your point of view is not complete submission to Jesus, but your instance on the complete absence of mysteries.
In the end this is not what God wants us to dwell on. And it should NEVER be dumped on unbelievers when preaching to them. That torture stuff turns more heats against the Gospel than anything else.
The details may be a little different, but we’re repeatedly told by Christ that Hell is a place “...where the worm dieth not and the flame is not quenched.” We’re told that it’s a place of eternal darkness, torment and anguish. In fact, Christ speaks more of Hell and the torment that awaits then He does of Heaven and the rewards for the faithful. Again, this is basic doctrines we’re dealing with here.
