CUERNAVACA, Mexico Police found the bodies of six men and one woman inside a car abandoned Monday in an exclusive gated community near the picturesque central Mexican city of Cuernavaca.
A shootout between rival gangs in the northern city of Monterrey killed two men, including a hot dog vendor caught in the cross fire, state police said. Three others were injured, including a 2-year-old and the child's father.
In western Michoacan state, the bodies of two men were found with messages from a new drug gang (The Knights Templar) that has been taking responsibility for recent killings in the region and claims to be a replacement for the weakened La Familia cartel.

The Knights Templar?
What an unlikely moniker for a drug gang!
I went on vacation in Chihuahua, Mexico a year ago. (It’s close to the Texas border). Even before I went I was a bit nervous. All seemed ok (you know, false sense of security). After I got back home was when they went into a drug rehab and killed everyone inside.
Ping!
If you want on, or off this S. Texas/Mexico ping list, please FReepMail me.
I will never go to Mexico again..we went there several times with the company my husband worked for during the years..Usually Puerto Vallarta or Cancun, but never again..Some might say these places are safe, but no place there is safe..
What kind of car?
I’m looking for a car that seats 7.
“...officers found three bodies inside the car and four more in the trunk...”
My father had a 1972 Cadillac that you could fit 10 bodies in the trunk.
