Regime change there(Iraq) took 8 years....we can’t afford that with Libya.

Holy crap...He just told that nutjob in Libya we can't do this for the long haul (in other words "hang in there..").

I was about to marvel over how he gave himself the out with the whole transfer to NATO schtick. But this...Damn....

I watched the Pentagon briefing today on C-SPAN. The US is still flying the bulk of the combat missions. We fired 200 cruise missiles compared to 8 for the rest of the coalition. And now we are using ground support aircraft to go after the Libyan military blowing up barracks, trucks, tanks, etc. In essence, our role is not just a no-fly zone, but rather, close-in ground support for the rebels and the destruction of the Libyan army. I wonder how many have been killed and will be killed.

And then if the rebels win, we will have to deal with their retribution, which is a given in the Middle East. And exactly who are the winners?

Yep......there is no end game - it's all "humanitarian" and using up our resources (what will those Marines be doing?)

No, that's Obama blaming Bush, again. 'I can do it faster and better.'

Yeah right. Her doesn't even know regime change in Iraq took 2 years, faster if you count how soon Saddam b!tched out.
