Well, I don’t think that anyone hates you.
This *is* a pro-life, moral absolutes thread, and if you say that you think people who can’t afford insurance should just go away and die because the government (the taxpayer) shouldn’t have to pay for them, you’re choosing death, and you’re overlooking another option. The people who frequent these threads will never agree to choose death.
A good solution is for the government to get out of the health care business entirely. We should work to turn things back to the way they were before, with local charities and churches taking care of those sorts of things from voluntary donations. I would gladly contribute to such a cause, but the government, in their lust to take over every aspect of our lives, has put most of those places out of business with the welfare state.
