How many remember every birth they attended forty-some years ago?

A white 18 year old girl giving birth to a black child in the early 1960's would be unusual, exceptionally so.

The reason he didn’t have to show a BC was because Pelousy already knew he didn’t meet the requirements so she covered it up. Also the vetting form for Hawaii is different than those for the rest of the states. All these small cracks are getting larger. Keep the pressure on there Trump!

Perhaps. But would a mixed race birth have been all that uncommon on an island in the middle of the pacific? No Poly-White marriages for example?

I’m just saying, that for Hawaii at least, it may not have been uncommon, and therefore of no great importance for those in attendance to notice.

40 years is a long time. Hell, I have trouble remembering some things from last week.

Black children are often born with light skin, though not as light as white, which darkens a few weeks after birth.

So it’s possible that they thought the kid might have been Hawaiian, which wouldn’t have been that unusual, I think.
