Not correct. I’m a RN. We have many foreign nurses working at my hospital and they all have state drivers licenses. They are very easy to get. I’m sure documentation is required, but of course not a US BC.
That really ticks me off.
My nephew had to provide a birth certificate to get his DL. But the man ahead of us, who had a small child speak English for him, received a DL without providing anything, period. Not even a green card!
