That reminds me, it is exactly the same time as my annual “LIGHT UP THE WORLD” hour, where we turn on every electrical appliance, spool up the hot tub and then sit back in all the bubbles and look how pretty it looks from outside!

I have to get a new light bulb for my front porch. You can't scoff at earth hour if your bulb is burned out.

I always make sure the washer and dryer are on, then leave the refrigerator door open while heating our kitchen with the oven, also let the children play with both garage door openers for this special event.

I wonder if they counted me in that total? I participated by fully illuminating my house and yard. Clearly, they don't account for the counter-actvists who double or triple their power consumption that night, and not for just an hour...
