Live with awareness and preparation so you don’t have room for fear.

I understand the article completely. I guess it is a “Love my Country, fear my government” type thing. Every day, I notice more and more ways to take away our individual freedoms. Add that to the “I don’t see anything wrong” philosophy concerning illegal immigration, rising gas prices/food prices/everything in the world prices... yep, I’m afraid. Informed but afraid. Just a thought.

Last night when my husband and I were out to dinner with our son, I asked him what his favorite thing to play at recess was. This brought a memory to my husband’s mind of playing a game called “Smear the Queer” when he was our son’s age and how no one thought anything of it.

Not that I like mean kids, but I thought, wow, a time when it was ok for people to acknowledge what so many rightly feel, that it is not natural or good to be gay. A time when playing that kind of game wouldn’t land a kid in re-education and hot water. I thought how sad it is that the whole nation is often too intimidated to say what they really think and live in fear of the reaction if they were to even say that simple opinion aloud.

Needless to say, my husband and I felt the need to whisper our observations because we were in public.

Few are speaking this truth, but I’m sure it is foremost in many, many minds daily!

I certainly do not trust our government to protect me or any other woman against the creeping radical Islamization of our country.

It seems that liberals have blinders on when it comes to the so-called “Religion of Peace.” It is simply not politically correct to state the obvious - that Islam is a threat to women everywhere on earth!

Government is nothing more than a group of people who have been trusted with power and authority.

In the current era the problem is simply this:

The kind of people who desire powerful or influential government positions are almost always the kind of people who can never be trusted with power, authority, or the tax money taken from others.

They are not motivated by a desire to serve America and to further the interests of the nation and all citizens.

Rather, they are motivated by a desire to use a position in government to further their own agenda, their own philosophy, and to benefit the interests of their own circle and their own financial backers.

While having breakfast this morning with my lovely bride, an ad came on the TV for a tax lawyer promising to protect you from the IRS. I thought of the old CSNY lyric "In a land that's known as freedom, how can such a thing be done."

Q: How can you square an IRS, an agency that makes the old KGB look like the PTA, with a free people?

A: You can't! Repeal the Sixteenth Amendment and watch fear abate (fewer "wars" as well).

Fear of the government is hard to recognize and acknowledge. It’s a fear that we are taught early on in life and to which we become accustomed.

If children attend government schools that are socialist funded, compulsory by means of police threat, and collectivist managed by voting mobs ( school boards), they will learn that government has **enormous** power over their lives. Gradually they become comfortable with government, socialism, collectivism, and voting mobs controlling their lives and "correct thinking".

At the end of the day, all government mandates are enforced at the end of the barrel of a gun, and that scares the hell out of everyone, as it should.

Even the youngest children in our government indoctrination centers soon learn that behind every government school teacher and principal stands an armed policeman.

I don’t fear the government. The government is fine. It’s the usurper and his commie buddies who are very frightening.

A "go bag" is a good thing. Make sure you have one. And, don't forget your ammo.

Was that off topic?
