Something’s wrong here... Because banks are federally insured, the FBI are first responders to any issue at a bank. A lifetime ago, I managed a bank branch and was very happy that the Feds were there when we were robbed, etc.

If the local PD did not show up, the branch should have activated their security system, which should have brought the FBI. Trust me, they don’t F... around with this stuff.

FBI jurisdiction is limited; if you are a national bank, it will investigate a robbery. However, if some vagabond decides to camp in your doorway and piss on your front window, that is a state offense, and the FBI will have nothing to do with it. The mob at the door is likewise a state offense, at least until they loot the cash window.

“Because banks are federally insured, the FBI are first responders to any issue at a bank.”

Thanks for the info. Now, my next question is - since the head of DOJ and his boss in the White House are marxist, radical protectors (even backers) of union thugs, do you think the FBI can still be counted on to respond and do the right thing as in your past experience?

Consider your comment to today with the news that Jamie Gorelick is being tapped as the one to be the new FBI Director.

Just sayin . . . .
