Last Sept, after a bear hunt, we were at the Millenium Hotel in Anchorage. They have an 11 foot brown mounted, standing VERY tall. Made the 8 1/2 footer I got look like a midget.
The difference between a normal black and a big brown/grizzly is like the difference between Gary Coleman & Shaq.
It is apparent why most outdoorsmen in AK carry BIG pistoles.
That one in BPS had to be 9 or 10`.I knew they were big but until you actually see one its impossible to realize how big they really are.Those black bears in the Smokies look like their cubs in comparison
