Wait a minute.....are they saying that if two people are married and US citizens and are expecting a baby....if they travel to another country and the baby is born.....that baby is not a US citizen?

Let me get this straight:
...A man born to TWO American citizens born abroad is NOT an American Citizen, but kid “popped out” the moment his foreign mom crosses the border is?
...and a man who was born to an American woman and a Kenyan father, with a not insignificant probability of being in Kenya at that time, is *also* a Citizen.

Win The Future!!

Davidson actually questioned his citizenship back in the 1940s when he joined the Navy, but received a letter from an attorney stating everything was fine.

If he has the letter that should be good enough.

It looks like a major political party in 2008 may have nominated someone for President who wasn't a US citizen.

John McCain was born in Panama--his parents were US citizens. If he isn't a citizen, do we have to have a do-over of the 2008 election with an eligible nominee?

If only...

I think Obama is about to “find out” the same thing...

Back when New Jersey Governor Jim McGreevey was on the verge of being indicted for various crimes I predicted that his way out of the mess would be to stop denying all of the swirling rumors over his sexual orientation, because the resulting cultural panic would make people completely forget about the bribery and corruption.

McGreevey did my prediction one better by announcing at a press conference that “His truth was that he was a Gay American”. Brilliant! The man never served a day in jail.

I gotta suspect that people are thinking along similar lines in the Obama White House right now. Things are just going to keep on getting worse, because Obama has dug a hole from which there is no digging out. Libya is the cherry on top of the sh!t sundae of his own creation. So, what is a President to do?

Simple. Stop denying the Birther rumors. Admit that you are not a native-born citizen. The resulting Constitutional crisis would make everybody completely forget about everything else. Obama can be hounded out of office with his head held high and the idiots on the Left can talk for another fifty years about how great a President he might have been...

My prediction is that somewhere in the basement of the White House, people are trying to concoct an innocent explaination of how Obama could run for President without realizing that he is Constitutionally ineligible. I’m guessing that Momma is about to go under the bus. Of course, her deception would have come out of a mother’s earnest desire for her child to have a better life as an American citizen, so maybe she doesn’t have to go under the bus at all.

Congratulations, pro-Amnesty crowd!

After six or seven years of scouring Lexis-Nexis results you finally came up with this poor fellow to serve as the Poster Child for your cause.

Wasn’t Pres. Bush granting citizenship to legal and illegals alike who served in the military?

What are they waiting for? Get this done, he’s already served.

The only reason why this Veteran is being made a big deal over, he is white and that is not right in Obama’s new world government.

Had this brave man just came across the border illegally, no one could ask him his status as an American, one hundred lawyers would be lining up right now to defend him, and public assistance would be provided to assist him while he is in this country illegally!

Wait for it . . . . wait for it . . . the first ad by the Obama administration declaring this brave veteran's predicament is because the republicans refuse to fix the immigration problem and allow all the illegals a path to citizenship!

wait for it . . . it is coming!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just a little quick googling, and since the article is so thin on real info it makes me wonder if there aren’t some circumstances they are leaving out. For instance, if his parents were citizens but had never lived in the US, he would not be a citizen. There may be other circumstances as well.

My 94 year old mother moved into assisted living. The DMV got her age and the new address wrong. She went with her passport, her old driver’s license and her social security card, which had her maiden name on it. The DMV told her they could not correct their error until she had a new, certified marriage certificate issued. She has no idea what city she was married in 70 years ago. (It was in the woods of Kentucky.)

However, I know a man from El Salvador. He was in the US on a valid visa and went to get a driver’s license. They issued him a driver’s license and handed him a voter’s ID card. He’s now a registered Democrat. He says everybody he knows in his immigrant neighborhood are registered democrats, even though many are here illegally.

Granted these are different offices, but still state offices. I’m smelling reverse discrimination.

Hey, if being an ILLEGAL ALIEN is good enough for the president, why not for someone who has actually done something for the country?

My advice, give this guy his license, and kick out the IDIOT IN CHIEF.

He lives our culture and speaks our language, so he’s not expensive to us. ...same with other English speaking Canadians born in Canada. That should make all of the difference, and toss political correctness to where it belongs.

I had always been under the impression that if you joined the military and got an honorable discharge you got naturalized.

My vet that was from merry ol England overstayed his visa and got drafted earned his papers this way after a tour in VN

Assuming his parents were Americans, he is not only a citizen but, being well over 35 and having resided here for well over 14 years, he qualifies to run for president.

Anyone who disagrees is an anti-military traitor ally of Bitch Napolitano :).
