It is about me because I can and will die if I am not allowed to do what I ned to do when my blood sugar hits 20 which happens to me fairly often.

An honest question: Washington D.C. and dozens of other major cities around the world ban food/drink on their subways. The people with medical conditions in those cities seem to manage, and their subways are cleaner, too. Why is NYC different?

I have no idea?I will tell you that most metro lines that I have rode on I’ve made the people aware of my problem just incase I did pass out which doesn’t happen often and usually when I’ve been on them I am not alone.I do carry juicebox and crackers with me for emergencies and have never been stopped if the person in charge knows or is told generally it’s more do I need to call an ambulace reaction because 99.9% of the people in the world understand that it is an emergecy situation and that time counts.I never once said that spagetti would be bad I may just.....and maybe they did too to challenge those who are so blind to obeying that they just don’t care if someone died as long as they obeyed. Then someone said something silly about not eating in Church....hmmmm perhaps he’s never been around a brittle type 1 diabetic who ate in church?I don’t ask that the world change for me I ask that I be allowed to stay living in the world aroud me that’s all.....
