“...It seems that we are nearing the time of the Lords return...”
-
Because Liz Taylor died?
Gimme a break.
The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand because the star of Butterfield 8 died? I was assuming the only ones who thought that were mourning in leather bars all over the country. Was I wrong!
Well, OTOH, “Judge not, lest ye be judged.”
I pray that Elizabeth Taylor repented and found grace before she went to Judgment.
I understand the negative attitude toward all that media tripe, but I don’t like to take it out on someone who just died.
A trip we all must make. Her flight left today.
I was never a Taylor fan. But it seems a bit early to be trashing her and speculating about her salvation prospects.
I admire Liz Taylor’s odd commitment to marriage. No matter how many times if failed, she kept going back and marrying someone new. It was a bizarre optimism, but she never gave up.
Fortheluvofgawd, let her alone. RIP, Elizabeth Taylor.
You misread. But Israel being back in the land is but one of many latter day prophecies that God made through many of His old testament prophets that must happen before the Lord returns. One must search the Scriptures as only Bible believing Christians are aware of His soon return to the earth as Lord of Lords and King of Kings.
Political correctness such as this has been the destruction of American liberties by the left and rino right who use it to suppress free speech and manipulate conversation. It is an evil thing.
We are dust in the wind, our life is but a vapour like dew on the grass that burns away by midmorning and then death, the judgement of God by Christ Jesus, then;...
It would be nice if you could write like a nice human being rather than sounding like Harry Powell in “Night of the Hunter.”
She can rot in hell for supporting that child molester Wacko Jacko
It’s not news, it’s not activism, it is opinion, and it is already posted.
Can’t all the self-righteous sobs of the world wait until she’s at least room temperature?
In all the interviews I saw of her over the years she NEVER spoke ill of any other person.
And she was HEAVILY involved in charities and various humanitarian efforts.
Not many around here who can say the same. Not many anywhere, I guess.
<< Zechariah 12 >>
American King James Version
This is why I say this. What is Elizabeth Taylor to me, I did not know her.
Zechariah 12
1 The burden of the word of the LORD for Israel, said the LORD, which stretches forth the heavens, and lays the foundation of the earth, and forms the spirit of man within him.
2 Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling to all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem. 3 And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it. 4 In that day, said the LORD, I will smite every horse with astonishment, and his rider with madness: and I will open my eyes on the house of Judah, and will smite every horse of the people with blindness. 5 And the governors of Judah shall say in their heart, The inhabitants of Jerusalem shall be my strength in the LORD of hosts their God.
6 In that day will I make the governors of Judah like an hearth of fire among the wood, and like a torch of fire in a sheaf; and they shall devour all the people round about, on the right hand and on the left: and Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place, even in Jerusalem. 7 The LORD also shall save the tents of Judah first, that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem do not magnify themselves against Judah. 8 In that day shall the LORD defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and he that is feeble among them at that day shall be as David; and the house of David shall be as God, as the angel of the LORD before them. 9 And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.
10 And I will pour on the house of David, and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look on me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourns for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn. 11 In that day shall there be a great mourning in Jerusalem, as the mourning of Hadadrimmon in the valley of Megiddon. 12 And the land shall mourn, every family apart; the family of the house of David apart, and their wives apart; the family of the house of Nathan apart, and their wives apart; 13 The family of the house of Levi apart, and their wives apart; the family of Shimei apart, and their wives apart; 14 All the families that remain, every family apart, and their wives apart.
I don’t know what political correctness means to you, but Minn’s post contained none of it. For all of your feigned piety, using Taylor’s death to climb on your soapbox showed absolutely zero class and no compassion what-so-ever.
The whole article is overwrought. Horrible writing.
And how did a lousy blog become news?
Oh STFU you ignorant, self righteous clueless. blatherer
Maybe you can get Fred Phelps and crew to go protest her funeral with you!?!
From another thread, Phelps will be there for the funeral.
