As far as I know, the only copper washed steel pills were BBs.

Well, I stand corrected!

“There are significant differences between small arms bullets used in military assault rifles. All are encapsulated (except at the back) by a thin metal jacket – the full metal jacket required by the Hague Convention. The core within this jacket may consist completely of a lead alloy (as in the 7.62x51mm SS77 NATO Ball and 5.56x45mm M193 bullets) or, in addition to some lead, may contain steel. The 5.56x45mm SS109 bullet has a small hard steel tip to its primarily lead core whilst the rear core portions of 7.62x39mm M1943 (AK47) and 5.45x39mm AK74 bullets are made of mild steel.”
