Liberals will think nothing of screwing with your livelihood and ability to feed your family because they disagree with you, or you stood in the way of their agenda.

or killing you.

This is why Stalin, Mao, Hitler, etc etc killed millions

Conquered territory? Wow, really, Mr. Sherman? Are you a Vatican assassin warlock with tiger blood and Adonis DNA, too?

Kinda reminds me of Islam and how it protects land conquered for Allah. If the land is lost in a battle or war then Muslims must fight doubly hard to get it back.

Just think of this teacher teaching creationism as land lost by the atheists who have to fight tooth and nail to get it back.

So called “creationism” is about “Creation” and the “so called science, “evolution” is a theory. It is a lie to teach a theory as a fact, true science is not a lie, it is based on facts.

The scientific reasoning that explains how an machine weighing hundred of tons can go hurtling through the air thousands of feet off the ground is known as the theory of flight. Shall we stop teaching that since, by your definition, it is a lie to teach a theory as fact?

Dr. Benjamin Rush, one of the youngest signers of the Declaration of Independance, the first treasurer of the United States, wrote the first Chemistry book in America said: “The Bible should be taught in our public schools, for the good of the students and the nation.”
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

I absolutely agree with you that education must not be separated from the scriptures. It is a philosophy that I applied to every minute of my children's homeschool day.

However....One of the fundamental principles of Christianity is free will and the freedom to choose. ( Do you remember the painting of Christ knocking at the door. There is no handle on the outside of the door. It is the person, himself, who must open the door from the inside.)

So....The solution is to eliminate government owned and run schools and move to a completely private system of K-12 education . Parents must be free to choose the school that will best supports what is taught in the home.

Our earliest government schools offered to the students a generic and lukewarm Protestantism. It had to be generic and lukewarm in order to appease the many Christian sects of the time.

Well....We **know** what Christ does with the lukewarm. He spits them out of His mouth!

Fundamentally, it is IMPOSSIBLE to have a religiously, culturally, and politically neutral education. It is axiomatic. Therefore...When government owns and run schools it will **establish** the religious worldview of the most politically powerful and undermine the worldview of the politically weak. And....The taxpayer is under the threat of police force to pay for establishment of the government's NON-neutral religious, cultural, and political worldview.

ALL government schools were, are now, and always will be, a First Amendment and freedom of conscience abomination.

Mr. atheist activist Rob Sherman. So, you know there is no God. So there is no good or evil. We are a comic, cosmic accident and we will soon die. So why do you care about what is taught in a class room?

Of course, Mr. Atheist, you are wrong and that is why the truth upsets you so!

One more thing:

Atheistic Marxism and Islam are our nation's most immediate threat.

The best defense against godless Marxism and Islam is to have a population of citizens who are completely prepared to philosophically and spiritually defend their **specific** Judeo Christian beliefs. That depth of religious education and spiritual development can never happen in a government school that ( at best) would offered up a sprinkle of prayer and scripture in the morning or feed its students a generic and lukewarm pap of Christianity.

ONLY in private schools could a child receive the **depth** of education he needs to stare down both godless Marxism and Islam.

I didn't go to a private school, but I think I'll manage.

Letmarch, you are correct, don’t mind the superscilious non-argument.

“The scientific reasoning that explains how an machine weighing hundred of tons”

It’s also observable, a requirement for ALL true (not theory) science. Evolution isn’t science, even remotely. And what you’re talking about are actually scientific LAWS, not theories. Scientific laws are theories that have been tested over and over and have, as of yet, proven irrefutable, with the qualifier that they can be disproven at any time (also a foundational principle of science). Evolution has ZERO observable evidence. Natural selection, sure, but that’s not evolution. Changing from one species to another species NEVER has ever happened. It’s not possible. Even domesticated animals are the same species, by definition of species, as wildy different their traits may be. Our scientific nomenclature has altered over and over to give credence to what we wish do currently define as “species” meaning through DNA rather than other traits, but species are those organisms that will naturally breed and produce nonsterile offspring.

And yes, it IS a LIE to teach theory as fact. It is only a theory, and that’s the only way that science can ever improve, is by not accepting “concensus” and “settled science” just because someone says so. Or people would still believe in alchemy, homunculi and succubi.

Then you received this instruction some place. It certainly wasn't in a government school....and you were among the lucky few.

The statistic are well know now. More than 85% of children from firm and active evangelical homes will leave their faith within 2 years of graduating from high school. More than 95% of homeschoolers will remain active in their faith.

A Chicago-area atheist is on a crusade

How exactly can or would an atheist be on a "crusade"? Does the reporter even know the meaning of that word?

Rob Sherman is an atheist and 'social activist, who is also an entrepreneur. Apparently Rob Sherman loves to receive media attention by suing and/or complaining about what he considers 'injustices', such as a science teacher daring to teach Creationism in a public school. The teacher, Beau Schaefer, was violating state law by 'teaching' Creation. The Fox News story indicates that Mr. Schaefer has agreed to stop doing this terrible, illegal act in his classes. However, atheist warrior Rob Sherman isn't satisfied with that. No, sir. Mr. Shaefer must be tossed out of his teaching job, and right now! I'm sure if that happens, the atheist warrior, Sherman, will try to have Mr. Shaefer's teaching license revoked and, if possible, force the man to pay damages to his students before grovelling at Mr. Sherman's feet, asking to be forgiven. He won't be. More likely, Mr. Sherman would try to have the (now) ex-teacher's home foreclosed on and drive him out of the state. I'm sure Mr. Sherman, the warrior for 'social justice' would pillory Mr. Schaefer or worse, if he thought he could get away with doing so and in this county, today, maybe he could. After all, Schaefer had the temerity to violate state law and, gasp! teach Creationism! Horrors! Let's destroy his career. That'll show these Christians who's in charge around here. Such is the arrogance of today's atheists.

“big-bang theory and all other beginning of life theories that have no roots in anything real”

They’re not even close to being science. That’s the problem, they take more suspension of logic, and more “faith” than any creation history. They’re not only not observable, untestable, and illogical, it takes a lot of make believing to even consider them.

(I’ll have to refind the source) I have heard that group of biologists, statsticians, and chemists a few years ago got together and calculated (as best they could) the probability of an event like the ones evolutionists describe, how lightning zapped seawater, etc., etc. to make life begin. They approximated the likelihood to be about as probable as a tornado passing through a junkyard and assembling a fully functional/operating Boeing 747 (all the materials must just be there!).

My education didn't stop when I left school, and the necessity of unyielding opposition to the philosophies of Marxism and Islam are readily apparent from history.

I arrived here by using reason to choose ideology, not by using ideology to choose reason. Maybe that makes me weird, but that's how it is.

If only you were half as witty as you wish you were! Creationism isn’t science, it’s faith. Just like evolution. I’d just prefer to put faith in something that has evidence. Prayers are answered everyday, but we have no new life spontaneously erupting. Our discussion is over, have a good day!

Evolution isn't even a 'theory'. It's a logical fallacy known as "affirming the consequent". It works like this. Evolution 'predicts' change. Change is observed, therefore evolution is 'true'.

That is, was and always will be a logical fallacy.

It taught me to read. Reading taught me logic and reason. Logic and reason taught me how to tell a good argument from ideological flame bait.
