A simple explanation might be that she likes to make money but doesn’t like to get beat.
She likes to make money singing songs about getting roughed up. That doesnt mean she deserves it and it doesnt mean she wants to do it in real life. Its similar to actors in horror movies that dont actually want to slaughter people.
But there is a disconnect when she has songs about that subject after it happened.
