From Michael Yon on Facebook, "I was informed that an Afghan guard at FOB Frontenac, in Kandahar Province, opened fire on our guys. The Afghan guard was killed by return fire. We lost 2 KIA and took 4 WIA. Next of Kin have been notified.

I was told that it was deliberate and that others returned fire and killed the Local National Guard who was shooting our guys. I was told that our guys were on green status at the time and not wearing body armor because it was on FOB Frontenac. I was told that the killer worked for the company called Tundra."

Haven't read anything about this in the news or seen it reported. The Defense Department sure doesn't want to specify that they were killed by an Afghan guard, do they??

I did see a news story a few days ago about two on our side being killed by an Afghan security person and that the perp was killed. This is the first I saw that it was more to the story as well as our kids involved.
