Under the War Powers Act, the president must notify Congress within 48 hours of commencing hostilities. Remember how the Dem's forced Bush to go back on his no new taxes pledge in order to get authorization for Desert Storm? I expect Boehner will attach a Repeal of Obamacare, dramatic budget cuts and tell the GOP members to vote yes.

I now believe obamas strategy is to be out of country on vacation. The media as evident by the lack of any mention of obama on the landing page of their websites is obviously respecting the fact that he is on vacation by not disturbing him. In a few days, an announcement will be made that the US role has ended and within a few hours, AF-1 will return to Andrews AFB.
Because Obama is just returning from vacation, the media will want to hear about what the first family did in Rio.
Any reporter audacious enough to ask about the war will be referred to an underling who will say that because the operation lasted less than 60 days, Congress didn't need to get involved under the War Powers Act. Such reporter is unlikely to ever been seen near the White House again.
