Then WTF (I don't mean win the future) are we doing this? I thought it was humanitarian, and backed heavily by the rest of the Arab countries. If the Arab League is now against it, it is yet another example of how fleeting Arab gratitude is, as I commented before the decision to get involved.
The only thing I give O a little credit for is, that once the bad decision was made, making the French and others take the lead on the airplane action, rather than jumping to have the US do it all.
Obama feels that if he can appease Al Qaeda in northeast Libya by removing the only man who’s kept them in check then maybe once they gain control over Libya and its oil they will warm up to the United States and stop their terrorism against us.
The Arab League is now against this because Obama and the UN came in too late.
Not too much credit though... It's just that we don't have an aircraft carrier in the Med. at this time...
