I love my T-Mobile wireless phone and have heard from good friends their problems with AT&T. I used to have Veriizon for home service and they were always screwing something up and I went to Vonage. i live near a big Verizon wireless facility and the folks i have met from there professionally are bottom of the barrel dregs. May have to look into sprint.

You aren't kidding, I first left AT&T after they determined "no fraud had been committed" after somebody in a city and state where I have not stepped foot in my entire life added four phones to my account, they refused to cancel the lines unless I paid almost $1000!. So I switched to Cingular which was simply wonderful for several years and then next thing I know they are bought by AT&T. Six months down the road I get another surprise bill in which I have come to be subscribed to no less than $100 worth of features and roaming plans. Once again I supposedly dragged my ass to a store I have never been to and asked them to add all these features to my plan. AT&T removed the features but would not reverse the charges for the past month!
Contract was up two months later and I switch to T-Mobile... and here we go again. I really want to stay in the GSM universe but I would be one of those obnoxious Nextel "chirping" creeps before I will have anything to do with AT&T.

I’m a 14-year AT&T (Cingular) employee and I’m thinking the same thing. They’re going to have to get that money from somewhere.

I left AT&T 5 years ago and went to T-Mobile here in the Phoenix area with no major problems. I hated AT&T. This really sucks if I have to go back to AT&T. :(
