What good RINO is NOT open to “reasonable” gun control?

The biggest problem I have with so called "reasonable" gun control legislation is that with a very few exceptions, like keeping guns out of the hands of ex-cons, wife beaters and the mentally unstable, I have yet to see a legislator propose "reasonable" gun control laws.

What they usually propose, and generally after some horrific event, is to make it harder and harder for law abiding citizens to own and/or carry firearms.

While I have little issue with things like background checks and requiring gun safety courses for those that chose to carry concealed the invasive and restrictive nature of most gun control legislation goes far far far beyond what most of us that have a true respect for, and appreciation of, the Second Amendment would classify as "reasonable".
