My point is the same. Every generation thinks theirs is the last. Maybe it’s part of not wanting to imagine that the world goes merrily on after we’re gone.
Things are bad right now, but my parents had it much harder than we do now.
I think a large part of the problem nowadays is that people are bombarded with a 24/7 news cycle, overreacting to every bad story that comes along, and sometimes even making them up when none exists.
