I've believed for a long time that the United States could break up by mid-21st Century. When I expressed this opinion to others, they laughed at me. But I think the demographic changes happening in the country are gradually making this nation ... a house divided against itself.... I think the crucial moment happened in 1965 when Congress passed the 1965 Immigration Reform Act. Most people paid no attention to this insidious piece of legislation at the time it was passed. Of course it was the Democrats who did it. The Democrats, at least since the Roosevelt Administration has been the major focus of everything that's been wrong in this country. My father went to his grave cursing Franklin Roosevelt, but the Kennedy/Johnson Administrations probably did even more damage.
