The people around me wonder what is wrong with my attitude but I can't waste my time trying to persuade them anymore. I'm done and I don't care how much pain they are about to incur because their ignorance has sickened me to a depth I didn't know existed. I've never felt so disgusted in my life.

Same here. Now is the time to pick a side, and whoever is not on my side, the side of the principles of freedom as laid out in the contitution, it's time to say to them: "see ya in the next life". I'm done on a personal basis trying to make them see what's going on and am ready to break contact with them. It's time to save my energy and resources for those that are like-minded.
