I guess the $10 billion sent to Brazil to help them drill oil wells in the Gulf wasn’t enough to buy off all of them.

As many of his supporters here in the US have found out over the last 30 months, this guy will end no wars (see Afghan troop surge, and it looks like he’s preparing to play Big Man with Libya, though I couldn’t imagine he’d ever attack an African country), and he won’t close Gitmo.

The only difference is the media will praise him for strong leadership if he attacks Libya (even though the conflict has NOTHING to do with us); the soft bigotry of lowered expectations in action.
