"It's not the students' job or the faculty's job to worry about self-preservation," said UA psychology senior Scott Rising, a student-government senator who penned a resolution against guns.

You cannot make this stuff up!

More whining and blood in the streets.

Well they ever get over lieing.

Most likely not.

Yep. Next thing you know, those radical right wingnut gun owners will start talking about a "right" to self-defense.

They're freaking out on campus locally (Idaho) as well. Here we are in a liberal enclave in a very conservative state and the talk is of "siege" and "a climate of fear". Apparently these folks have never been off campus. BTT.

Whatta laugh.

I went to the U of A. Decades ago.

Lived near campus. One night, heard a ruckus outside our bungalow and saw three guys go running by, top speed.

After I made sure the roomie was safe, I went the direction they ran.

Saw my ex-Marine neighbor standing there with his carbine down, talking to one of the guys...who turned out to be the intended victim of two A**holes from south of the border. They were chasing him when I saw them.

Turns out my neighbor walked out with his carbine when he saw the aforementioned a**holes trying to hit the guy with a shovel. When he told them to stop and "manos arribas!", they came at him....but he had his bayonet attached, and one of the idiots walked into it.

So, uh, bleeding and upset, they left, and were later arrested at University Medical center for assault.

My neighbor, who I thought was a hero, was roundly criticized by all the faggy grad students in our little complex for being "macho".

I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Were these idiots mad? He saved a guy's life.

One guy's wife even left him over it. She couldn't stand listening to the cowardice, assumed her husband would protect her. Once she realized he was worthless, she walked. Think she lives in Rancho Santa Fe now, married some guy worth millions....good for her.

But that's what kind of "men" you are hearing in this. A bunch of limp wristed little worthless butt boys, future willing targets.

The standard position of the left: law abiding citizens cannot be trusted.
