We’ll find out come Monday/Tuesday when the real radiation get’s here, read my post above, the stuff reaching us now is from the first day, the real “fun” stuff hasn’t arrived yet.
I did read it. I’m curious what the real fun stuff is and what effect a week over the ocean would have on it.
Anyone know?
Based on everything I’ve heard, there’s no radiation risk to the US because the radioactive material will be so highly dispersed by the time it gets here. But if the wind shifts and starts to move east-to-west, that could send radioactive material into much closer areas in Japan and possibly Korea and China. I don’t know how serious the contamination could be, but that’s the major concern in this disaster along with the health of the people working at the power plant.
