I misstated. Not the reactors but the buildings have lost containment and the water in the cooling pools is gone in one or two of the buildings. The bigger issue will be the cooling pools not the reactors, I have been saying that for awhile now.

The building never really had much 'containment'. That is what reactors are for. Re-containing the spend fuel rods will HARDLY require anything like a huge sarcophagus. Hose them down with water, cobble together a new tank to hold them in and dump them in it until they cool off. Now that they the power to pump water again this thing is 80% solved.
