Doesn’t mean jack. Senate will NOT pass it. If they truly had any cojones at all they would have put it in the CR.
Yup, then let the dems be the ones who shut down the gov...
Exactly! bttt
I believe you are correct. As far as I know the only way the House alone can cut off NPR is to remove the appropriation from the budget, the Senate cannot put it back in.
Only hope it’ll happen someday.
Meanwhile in the hell freezes over dept. Boston public broadcaster WGBH has been called “right-wing”—by a spokesman for its largest union. The union rejected a contract but the station has imposed it over their objections, leading announcer/union spokesman Jordan Weinstein to call it “right- wing rejection of collective bargaining”
Absolutely right, of course. Political theater by the nancy boys who just voted to support the Dems in their disgraceful spending. No, house leadership, this does not make you conservative. We are not stupid. Pass a budget bill with drastic spending cuts, including defunding Obamacare, and let the Dems do what they want.
Frankly, this vote against NPR, that you know won't get signed into law, after yesterdays cave to the progressives, make you all look like fools.
They all are such a sack of sheit.
Exactly right. It’s just for show to get the heat off them. Never getting past the Body’s desk.
