Not sure if it was something I did, but when I went to that “mediate” site and scrolled down the page it started opening multiple windows faster than I could close them. Be careful.
It’s quite possible that you accidentally clicked on a link for mail. If your mail client is not set up to allow this type of link, you will get 100’s of little pop-up boxes that show up on your computer. It’s your computer attempting to access your e-mail.
When this happens to me, I click on task manager and find the process that states iexplore.exe . Then you right click on this and then click on end process. It will stop this process from opening all those windows.
You eventually realize if you do this a lot that you can beat these windows from popping up by terminating that program quickly.
