This is just going to hasten their decline, even though it’s meant to forestall it. It’s sad seeing the other businesses they try to promote in their print edition to try and earn back money some other way that they’ve been increasingly losing from declining circulation - selling old, framed photographs, New York memorabilia, seminars, etc.

LOL! It’s still happening here in L.A. My neighbor just asked me who’s LAT is on the pavement because no one picks up the LAT newspapers for the past 2 weeks (he wants to read the business section but never the news).
Even for free the NYT is too expensive. The only reason I would sign up for this is to get the pleasure out of canceling it.
The New York Times has a website?
