Here's my point in my postings: Are we still ardently talking about maintianing what is left of the Republic and restoring it to it's foundational roots? If so, everyone has to accept that we are not talking about right against left. Socialism, communism/fascism, is entrenched on both sides of the politics. I can't put my faith in the Republican leadership. As I said, socialism, for the purpose of an oligarchy, is the end game, whether to the right or to the left. Are there new Republicans that are conservative? Yes. Can they change the leadership? No. This is how flexible progressives are in there goal for socialism. You would agree that Noam Chomsky is a champion of socialism, especially of the communist ilk? How flexible is this man? He obviously see's the waning fortunes of the 60's communists in government, and hey, if communist socialism won't be the way, then, well, let's see, Global Warming, yeah, fascism, yeah....perfect political fit to save the world now in his own estimation. "Suppose it was discovered tomorrow that the greenhouse effects has been way understimated, and that the catastrophic effects are actually going to set in 10 years from now, and not 100 years from now or something. Well, given the state of the popular movements we have today, we’d probably have a fascist takeover-with everybody agreeing to it, because that would be the only method for survival that anyone could think of. I’d even agree to it, because there’s just no other alternatives right now.” (page 388)." Understanding Power: The Indispensable Chomsky Neither right nor left wants this country to have a foundation that fears God and has solid family up bringings that is too wise for them. You can lable them the true radicals.....their goal being....the radical center...a norm 180 degrees opposite of what made this nation great. The love of money is the root of all evil. A strong, God fearing nation that knows to keep money in it's proper persepective will florish. Why do you think they want your money.....most people do mostly good with their money, when they fear God. This nation still is the most giving nation, from the populace, on this planet. But then, we the people are making diplomacy, not the politicians.........that has to be destroyed.

“But they are right about the RINO elites who are running the GOP into the ground.”

I’m not about to fall for the lies from the RINO at Red State who says: “Now the House GOP is launching a direct assault on . . . wait for it . . . conservatives.”

The whole House GOP, right? Now that’s BS!

Let’s name names, Red State.

That Romney-loving SOB at Red State can go F himself. He’s a liar and has proved that he’s no friend of constitutional tenets.

I remember Rush warning of just this around the time of the election. The first order of busines is/was to fire the staffers, they are the behind-the-scenes agitators who’ve been entrenched in cushy and powerful positions for YEARS. Clean house.

(Look how they sniped Sarah Palin, Christine O’Donnell, Hoffman, etc., even Reagan)

While I am sympathetic to that good idea, it still gauls me that the party that idolizes communism and is doing it’s damnedest to install it here, is considered Blue, while we are referred to as Red.

By now, a yawning abyss exists between Conservatism and the GOP. Every recent election in America spells this out in large capital letters.

GOP leadership ought to capitalize on the changes in American political life ... instead of spinning their wheels and trying to fight the inevitable.

They HAVE TO… and for a couple reasons:

• Democrats do NOT have to perpetually attune themselves to public opinion. There exists an element in America (large-and growing, lazy and over indulged) forming a constant DNC base. With NO adjustment, the DNC party of give-away’s, has a steady appeal and can reach this base without effort and directly. They do NOT have to educate or realign their base because they have generation upon generation of ready-made ranks of unquestioning constituents to hand, thanks to the NEA and MSM.

• The DNC is NOT and NEVER WAS foreign policy adept. Politically and diplomatically maladroit Democratic Presidents are tolerated with a predictable regularity that is by now, so far institutionalized in American politics that it is incontestable… if it is remarked upon at all. Democratic Presidents are traditionally forgiven the worst and most dramatic foreign policy failures. History is rewritten to smooth it over, so nothing will impede subsequent Democratic candidates…. Meanwhile, Conservative foreign policy failures are held to loud and repeated public reprimand.

• The age demographic, I think, applies not at all in the DNC appeal. Lucky for them! Whole families are Liberal with a frightening consistency. This is a tremendous edge. The Liberal appeal becomes almost cultish and tribal… nearly the most difficult bond to challenge.

I could go on but you see that the GOP has its hands full and instead of getting to work, it has chosen to take up an additional and UNNCESSARY fight with its OWN!!! Fie!

I have no doubt that there is great tension between the GOP leadership and the Tea Party-oriented rank and file in the House. They quite evidently have divergent views of their roles and responsibilities.

The struggle appears to be between leaders of a nominal majority party who nonetheless continue to view themselves as "the opposition" (i.e. - a reactive, minority mindset),and those largely new members who wish to lead rather than follow.

The former group is comprised of perennial "moderates" ever-satisfied to bargain for the best deal they can get while maintaining cordial relations with liberal Democrats. The latter group sees their role as that of actively representing those who elected them by fighting for fiscal responsibility and leaner government, regardless of the arrows fired their way from the Democrats and their news media tribunes, and "popularity" be damned.

There is no way of consistently knowing which media stories are planted (or solicited) by whom, for what reason(s), or in the service of whose agenda. I would take everything you read with a large dose of salt, and instead focus on what individuals actually do - as opposed to saying what they will do - and pay even less attention to what they ascribe to others, especially through second-hand accounts and shadowy intermediaries.

EASY PRIMER ON AMERICAN POLITICS

The Democrat Party is Communist.

The Republican Party is Socialist.

The Tea Party is Capitalist.

I’ve said and will continue to say - it will take at least three election cycles of conservative victories if there’s any hope of reclaiming the GOP. We need to stay vigilant.

I have been saying this for 20 years, and since I have started posting here, have been chastised on numerous occasions for saying the gop is just democrat lite....we have a foothold in the party now, the next step is to begin to get rid of the leadership via the ballot box

“By now, a yawning abyss exists between Conservatism and the GOP. Every recent election in America spells this out in large capital letters.”

No doubt. But we just elected more than 700 patriots to state legislatures, resulting in the complete control of 26 states by patriots. These patriots ran under the Republican banner, and I’m not about to throw the party under the bus because of RINOs in Washington. We’ll take care of more RINO traitors in DC in the next election. Everyone knows that it would take more than one election to get the ship moving in the right direction.

In the meantime, these numbers of patriots in state legislatures shows that power is devolving away from corrupt Washington. So when I see that dog at Red State attacking and smearing the entire Republican party, as he just did, and that party gave us control of 26 states, I smell a rat disguised as a RINO.

So yeh, there’s good Republicans and bad Republicans. We’re working on that.

sergeantdave, redstate is not who I believe in this case. I do however believe Mark Levin who was all over this last night. Redstate is just a back bencher on this issue but he parrots the truth in this case. Good Day....
