The Blaze has been happy to bring you reports of the Japanese peoples resilient spirit and will to stick together and survive. With all of the human despair and destruction facing Japan following the countrys massive earthquake and tsunami, it would be easy to overlook the struggles of some smaller residents.
Undoubtedly, hundreds if not thousands of house pets perished as the tsunami swept ashore and people made their way to higher ground. But as we reported yesterday, some pets are finding ways to beat the odds.
Add two more to that list.
Japanese film crews captured these images of a shivering and disoriented dog sticking by his injured canine companion, waiting for help to arrive for the both of them.

Make’s me wish i could go rescue those dog’s and bring them to a good loving home.
Like most animals, dogs especially are very special and this video only substantiates that.

From what I’ve read in reports many of the kitties on Cat Island survived...hopefully they can get them food soon or already have.

I do too. I have a real soft spot for dogs.
Reminds of the story of Hachiko. Look it up on Wikipedia.org, under “Hachiko”. By all accounts, it’s a true story, and quite a remarkable one at that.
