Just buying more time while they continue to dismantle the best Healthcare System in the world. I am heartbroken for all Americans. And furious with the stupidity of the majority of voters in 2008. Why didn't they look past the rhetoric?? The most destructive Pres..ent ever. All taxpayers will have their taxes raised 10-20% and get LOTS less care. Wait in line at your local Government clinic. No choosing your doctor. No non-emergency surgery for weeks/months. Americans have NO IDEA what is in store for them. I do.

‘Does the SCOTUS have original jurisdiction?’
Does not matter since the case is already in multiple appellate Courts.

The schuminist is a schmuck with ear flaps, and needs to get slapped down by the SCOTUS.
...and I pray that the five will be healthy for the duration.

Well, it does seem as if the Supremes are bowing down to the usurper. They’re evading the NBC issue so why not Obamacare?

RE: “No standing.”
Just what I was thinking. Nobody BELOW Obama has “standing” for anything. He thinks we are all permanent serfs, just because he fooled a lot of people two years ago. This guy has a rude awakening in store for him.
I'd love to see the Supremes hand him his head-maybe include a severe punishment for interfering with the judiciary.

If I was Obama, I’d do the same thing. I’d want to drag this thing out as long as possible to let the health care monstrosity get its hooks into the American fabric. Obama can say whatever he wants. That’s the president’s prerogative. But it’s up to the Supreme Court to tell him to go to hell.

1 For the administration to respond and oppose the request for expedited hearing is perfectly normal and is no more arrogant than the request for expedited hearing (neither is arrogant).
2 IMHO the admin is hoping a conservative justice will retire or die before this is heard.

Does the SCOTUS have original jurisdiction?
IMHO it would, it's in multiple state courts. I think there could be a case for concurrent jurisdiction, but that gets way beyond my knowledge.

I hope so too, I can’t imagine that even some of his lap dogs on the Supreme Court appreciate this administration telling them what their place is now, and they had better stay in it!
