Continuing Resolution (H.J. 48) appears to have passed House.
House Live ^ | Today. Now. Right now. Look sharp. It's happening.

If I am watching my House Proceedings correctly, I believe the CR (H.J 48) has passed the House.

No one seriously thinks it will stall in the Senate.

A lot of Republicans (44+) voted Nay. THAT IS A SIGNAL!!!

NO MORE CR's!!!!

Maybe most of them, but Rep. Steve King from Iowa can stand right up in the lead with the likes of Michelle Bachmann. As an Iowan, Steve King ticks off all the right people. But, aside from him and maybe a few others, I agree that the Republicans (as opposed to conservatives) are letting us down. I’m seeing it here at the state level, as well. Most are a bunch of damn cowards!

If, if? Boehner sold us out. He refuses to do what We The People told him to do. And we shouted it out loud and clear in November, yet, he refuses to defund obamacare NOW, when we have the power to do so. Boehner could have added the more effective language to the CR, as submitted by Michele Bachmann and Steve King, which is, “Notwithstanding any other provision of law, none of the funds made available by this or any previous Act with respect to any fiscal year may be used to carry out the provisions of Public Law lll-148, Public Law 111-152, or any amendment made by either such Public Law.” This more effective language could have stopped the $105. billion in automatically appropriated funds. Yet, Boehner refused to do so, because he was standing on “rule” principles, and “wanted to do the right thing”...this particular time...on this CR.

Boehner and Cantor are weak, timid, cowards. They had opportunity, but they do not have the fire in their bellies to defend the Constitution, freedom and liberty. NOW is the time to act, and yet Boehner makes excuses and drags his feet. Boehner refuse to pick his battle, THE DEFUNDING OF OBAMACARE, COMMUNIST/SOCIALIST HEALTHERCARE BATTLE, FOR GOD’S SAKE, and kill/defund any way possible.

Time for us to remove Boehner and the rest of his weak, timid, cowardly supporters. We told them in November what We The People wanted and they ignored us. As Mark Levin said this evening on his radio program, “We The People are now SUBJECTS of our leaders. We must do what they tell us. They do not listen to us.” This is what the socialists believe, and their actions reflect it.

The hell I will. We are down, but not out. Twenty-five percent of the new freshman politicians voted against the CR, contining resolution. Apparently, they were told they needed to make a united front to the socialists, and so they voted for the CR and FOR obamacare. And, of course, they worried about failing to win chairmanships and committee positions if they did not vote FOR the CR. And so they refused to do what they promised to do in November, when we voted for them and financed their respective campaigns. Fool me once, shame on me. Fool me twice, shame on you.

Time for the tea party groups to get to work. It’s an never ending battle for our Constitution, freedom and liberty.
Who will be the next Ronald Reagan, George Washington, patriot and defender of all we love? Work like hell and pray hard toward that goal, NOW.

The Democrats are completely and totally incapable of stopping their spending spree habits.

The Democrats cannot and will not negotiate in good faith t odo the necessary cuts and reforms.

BUT ... they must be done and we want the conservatives in the House to pass a budget that cuts $100 billion for FY 2011 and defunds Obamacare.

Only one possible way forward and that is to pass it and let Harry Reid decide if he wants the govt shutdown or not.

We need about 200 GOP House members on board that idea.

It’s not a surrender, more like a punt or a bunt.
We need to do more, and we need to stop stringing this out,
but they are just buying time while real negotiations continue.
They need to have real CUTS in the CRs.

“Well I just called my newly elected and supposedly “conservative” congressman, Reid Ribble - WI, and voiced my displeasure at his “Aye” vote.

I reminded his staffer that he was not voted in to play nice with the Rats, but to cut taxes and spending.”

Bravo to you..

Keep the heat on so they see the light.

“any RINO voting YES on CR or QE must be defeated in 2012 !

Mark Levin said any that any who begged him to come on his show to raise money for their campaign are ON THEIR OWN NOW!

The REAL united front would be if EVERY SINGLE GOP member of Congress committed to zero dollars for Obamacare.

ZERO DOLLARS.

Draw that line in the sand and throw it over the wall to Reid and Obama and say “We will not fund Obamacare, period. We are ready to negotiate on other matters, but we cannot and will not vote for a single penny for Obamacare.”
“Your move.”

I totally agree with you. I'm going to call my house representative Randy Hultgren tomorrow, and pound him on why he voted FOR the CR. Pounding is what all those conservative freshmen need for failing to honor their campaign commitments in November. And then we need to get rid of them if they refuse to learn their lesson. They work for We The People, NOT for John Boehner.
