I know that it is not always easy to make a call as to whether a post crosses the line. The one-word post #79 is not one of them: it contains nothing except name-calling. When Admin Moderators let posts such as these stand, it suggests that guidelines have substantially changed since I joined FR a decade ago.

Sorry to bother you, but I am left with no other way to learn except to ask you: is pure name-calling now acceptable on FR?

Please advise.

I guess, the absence of your reply is a reply in an of itself. I learn from it that even a one-word post with nothing but name-calling is within the current guidelines you set for this forum. It has been approved by AdminModerators and you personally.
