“Keep buying into the media-driven hysteria. Soon enough more people will act the same and pull the plug on nuclear energy.”
Lets hope so. No more Nukes. We need to build natural gas and coal fired power plants. This is America lets use what we have. It never melts down and kills everyone.

It never melts down and kills everyone. Nor does nuclear power suffer natural gas explosions or coal mine disasters.
If your interest is solely accidental loss of life per KwH generated, nuclear is by far the safest means of generating electricity.
Don't go all hysterical on us...

Can you name any water reactor accident that melted down and killed anyone? Obviously if it killed everyone, you must have recovered.

Lets hope so. No more Nukes. We need to build natural gas and coal fired power plants. Coal plants release more radiation than nuke plants. There is radioactive material in coal that simply gets released into the atmosphere as it is burned.
Earthquake plus tsunami: Thousands dead.
Damaged nuke plant: 0 dead
And people act like the nuke plant is going to kill us all. Go figure.
