I have to say that I'd support making sure that looneys appear on the NICS instant check system to help prevent them from buying firearms at retail sale or through transfers, because that's what the instant check system was supposed to be all about.

It's the liberals who have been working overtime trying to make sure that illegal aliens, violent looneys, and felons don't show up on a NICS check. They want to control guns, not prohibited persons from acquiring them.
