Former Indiana Sen. Evan Bayh is slated to become a contributor to Fox News, Huffington Post and other outlets are reporting.
Bayh, a moderate Democrat who served in the Senate from 1999 to 2011, will act as a commentator and political analyst for the network, according to the Huffington Post. Bayh flirted with the idea of a presidential bid in 2008, but ultimately abandoned the idea.
"Senator Bayh's decades of experience in the political arena and his participation in key decisions in Washington will lend a valuable point of view to the entire FOX News lineup," said Michael Clemente, senior vice president for news editorial, in a statement acquired by the Hill.

Maybe Fox is smart to do this. I know a democrat who watches Fox and likes it very much. He also seems to be changing his opinions. He now says obama is bad, and I think he voted for him.

Correct. O’Reilly’s ego and naive position on the Birther issue killed that hour for me. Hannity is predictable, repetitive and boring. His panel is just un- managed and un-watchable. Another hour gone, Beck wore me out.

Evan Byah is a creation of the media. No regular person knows, cares or would listen to :30 minutes of this guy.

I can’t take TV news anymore. Too many commercials, hardly any news I haven’t already read on Free Republic or Drudge. Total waste of time. The days of sequential information delivery are over, replaced by random access content, i.e., information you can select, how and when you want it.

He's the scion of a long time liberal Senator from Indiana who became 2 term governor of Indiana and after being term limited went on to two terms in the Senate. While I totally disagree with most of his views, he does have solid credentials as a liberal lawmaker.
Nothing I can tell. He voted with Oblahblah right down the line.
