Never heard of that one mayself.
Did hear about the Whitworth - used by Southern Snipers to take out Union officers out to over 1000 yds away.

Well I kind of like old, weird stuff like that and like I said I don't think it was ever used. The dynamite guns were used though and some of the shooters actually survived.
The American-made Sharps did a fine job too.
