A Roku box allows you to watch streaming content (from your wireless router) on your TV. I got the Roku because it was cheap and they are constantly adding new content. A lot of the newer BlueRay devices also allow you to do this, but limit the content. The two providers I lease (per month) are Netflix and HuluPlus. Unlike cable, you can add or drop content providers at will. You can find out more at Roku.com. [PS—I don’t own the company or anything]
