An amazing thing to ponder. Thankfully the world is taking notice.

“As for other comments Ive seen on this thread...if being a homogenous society is a strength of the Japanese, the we in America are screwed. Our country has SO MANY cultures, wed have to rid ourselves of 50% of the population...or better...in order to have a homogenous society.
Is that what we really want?”
What Euro-Americans will eventually “want” is a literal “separation” of the country. We may see North America (both the USA and Canada) fracture, and then “re-combine” into several nation-states that more clearly reflect and represent the ethnicities and political philosophies of those within.
It may be peaceful. It may be not so.
But I foresee it happening, one way or the other.
If this could occur (as it DID) in the Soviet Union (which doesn’t exist any more), could it not happen here?
We are seeing ethnic/cultural/political divides here now in the United States that rival those of America in the 1850’s. And what happened afterwards?
I see that in my relatives.
Because the Japanese have resisted the wonders of turd world immigration and remain a people and act accordingly. They take care of their own, because they are all Japanese.
Because they don't have a permanent established culture of "entitlement," and most are actually educated.
53% !!!??
Typical wobbly liberal response.
Of course it is!
Homogeneity in this case refers to the cultural reality.
Shame.
Out of curiosity, how many of the Katrina looters came to America on slave ships? Or their parents, or grandparents, or great-grandparents?
Absolutely!
Fundamental positive cultural values an NOT race or nationality-dependent.
Unless you need them to be, to validate your circular reasoning.
Hope he had his seat belt on so he would not get a ticket from the police...
The very same state run liberal media folks sat and watched the poor business owners get robbed and looted and chastise those who owned a business as i.e. RICH .. Wealthy during Katrina, or the L.A. riots ... but ? at the end of the day ? these very same liberal media types went home to their guarded communities to their multimillion dollar homes and enjoyed the luxuries of life that they accuse others of robbing from these poor unfortunate thugs.
lootings are vibrant and colorful. Japan needs more diversity so the country can become more vibrant and colorful
I would just add also they don’t have an entitlement mentality the size of all outdoors and they’ve not fallen for the multi-cultural BS.. However, your point is right on the mark...this answers it all.
Sure glad you didn't actually say it, since that is the dumbest statement in this thread.
For the last 150 years, the other 95% of the American population learned self-reliance, a love of work, inventiveness and achievement, without demanding the benefit of a "Mommy Government."
Get a clue. Read history.
How can you report something that isnt happening?
Has it occured to you that integrity plays an imporant part in their culture ?
Here in the US is govmint “owes me my check” attitude
“Ive heard that there is no Japanese equivalent to the word looting.
It’s called rooting!
Does that mean that it is OK to loot Gaijins? and it doesn't count?
I assume most adults in Free Republic know we are addressing contemporary societies with the central question of the thread.
You want to discuss history? Start another thread. I'm game.
Because America’s Democrats have not been given free reign in Japan to rid the country of personal responsibility and self-respect.
I may not be the sharpest poster on this thread, byt I can state with absolute certainty that not a single American looter in the last 20 years was "brought to the US in slave ships."
Are you suggesting that there is a "looting gene?"
Um. Yeah, right. Sure, they’re “civilized” enough to not loot from their fellow Japanese-—unlike the urban Lefturds and Libtards here in America-—but heaven help you if you’re unlucky enough to be one of their conquered enemies.
Yamashita’s gold comes immediately to mind. Google it if you’re not familiar with that bit of large scale looting by the Japanese.
By the way, my ex-wife was half-Japanese. She was born in Sendai, Japan which bore the brunt of the tsunami. Many in her family on her mother’s side are missing. My thoughts and prayers go out to her and her family.
However, to say that the Japanese don’t ever loot is just crazy talk from a Liberal press trying to re-write history in an attempt to impress you with just how “civilized” the Japanese are and how “uncivilized” we Westerners are.
Just my two-cents worth on the subject.
Cheers
